Kristi Wilder Maddox, President & CEO

Kristi Wilder Maddox is the founder and President of First Priority Title Company, Inc. With nearly three decades of experience in the title industry, she founded FPTCI in 1991, and has continually operated and grown the business since its inception. Kristi is well-known for her positive “can-do” attitude, and her knowledge and personality are exactly what you want and need for success from contract to closing. Highly experienced in the intricacies of the title industry, her reputation for success ensures the closings are done correctly, and all parties leave happy and satisfied.  Kristi works with realtors, buyers, sellers, commercial and residential lenders, banks, credit unions, developers, contractors and investors on a daily basis.  She truly always makes you her FIRST PRIORITY!

Happily married for 21 years, Kristi has one son who attends the Haslam School of Business at The University of Tennessee. She lives on a farm and enjoys hunting, fishing, concerts, NASCAR, traveling and time spent with friends and family. She is a Board Member of the Better Business Bureau for Greater East Tennessee.


A. Nicole Troutt

Nicole Troutt is a magna cum laude graduate of the University of Tennessee, where she was a member of the chancellor’s Honor Program earning her Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and business.  Nicole is a graduate of Nashville School of Law, where she earned the Dean’s Award. She is currently pursuing her Master’s of Business Administration at the University of Tennessee.  After law school, Nicole served as an Associate Attorney at O’Connor, Petty, Child, Boswell and Piper, PLLC, and then began her journey as General Counsel for First Priority Title Company, Inc. Clients are well-served by her experience in the acquisition, development, and sale of real property. She conducts title searches and is a licensed Title Agent. Nicole’s practice includes the representation of clients in business transactions, the representation of landlords, banking, and wills and estates.  She is a member of: the Tennessee Land Title Association, serving on the Legislative committee; Knoxville Bar Association, serving on the Judicial Committee; Tennessee Bar Association; American Land Title Association; and the American Inns of Court. 

Nicole is married and has four children. Her hobbies include spending time with her family, running, swimming and knitting.


Stacy K. Wilder

After completing his education at East Tennessee State University, Stacy relocated to Knoxville and began his career in the title industry. With over 20 years of experience, his dedication, attention to detail and vast wealth of knowledge --- not only the loan process, but also Estates, Foreclosures, REO Properties --- make him an invaluable asset to FPTCI.

Stacy strives to build and maintain relationships to ensure a smooth transaction from contract to close. Stacy enjoys sports, outdoors, cooking and spending time with his dogs.

 

 


Katie Lynn Freeland

Katie Lynn Freeland moved to East Tennessee in 2013 from South Florida. With an Associate of Science degree in Legal Studies/Paralegal, she has been a paralegal for over ten years. Her previous experience includes Criminal Law, Home Owner’s Defense and Asbestos. Katie became a part of the FPTCI family in January 2016, working solely with Kristi and her closings. Her legal experience, work ethic, organization and positive attitude have helped her to adapt and thrive in her paralegal position at FPTCI.  

While living in South Florida, Katie enjoyed going deep sea fishing, going to the beach and attending University of Florida football games.  Now that she lives in East Tennessee, she enjoys anything that has to do with the outdoors, especially hiking in the mountains and spending time with her two young children. We love her even though she’s a Gator fan!


Ronie Richard

Ronie Richard has been the receptionist for FPTCI since September 2002. Ronie knows everyone who walks in the door, and greets them all with a smile. 

She has two children, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She enjoys sports, reading, crossword puzzles, sudoku, and going to Harrah’s once a month with the Senior Citizens Group at O’Connor Center, Knoxville.


Kaylee Millikan

Kaylee Millikan is currently a rising senior pursuing a degree in Business Marketing at the University of Tennessee. She has been interning with FPTCI since May 2016, and is very eager to learn everything she can about the industry and building professional networks.


Kim Bofill

Kim Bofill does post closings and title policies for FPTCI.  She worked for Allen J. Ware, Jr., former counsel for FPTCI, and upon his retirement, joined the FPTCI family. Prior to moving to Tennessee 20 years ago, Kim worked for the Broward County Florida State Attorney’s Office for 15 years.  She has worked with law firms and has a wealth of knowledge. 

Kim has been married for 25 years and is a grandmother of triplets who understandably consume most of her free time. Additionally, she enjoys hiking, going to the beach and the mountains, the outdoors and animals, both wild and domestic.


Stefanie Baker

Stefanie Baker is the newest addition to the FPTCI family, joining the team as a paralegal in 2016. She is a 2001 graduate of Pellissippi State Technical Community College with a degree in paralegal studies.
 
Stefanie worked for three and a half years as a Paralegal before taking time away from the workforce to raise her four children. She previously owned her own business and worked as a substitute teacher. She is currently a student at King University working toward her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. Stefani is very involved in her children’s school and sporting activities, serving as a member of the PTA at two schools and the Secretary of the football organization her children play for. She also enjoys reading and knitting.
